Reservation and Cancellation Policies


Deposit Amounts
•Reservations made more than 45 days in advance of the trip date require a 50% deposit. The balance is due 30 days prior to the trip. Nonpayment of balance by 15 days may result in forfeiture of deposit and cancelled reservations.
•Reservations made 30 days or less in advance of the trip date require payment in full.
•When paying by check or money order, the appropriate deposit must be received within 10 days of booking a trip.

If you cancel –
•More than 30 days in advance of your trip date, we retain a $20 per person cancellation fee.
•30 days or less in advance of your trip date, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip.
•Money forfeited may not be applied to any Tours.

Transferring Reservations –

All reservations are transferable to another person, but not another date. Transferring to another date is the same as cancelling.


Because riding a Segway PT is a gravity sport, we must adhere to strict weight limits: minimum weight: 70 lbs; maximum weight: 280 lbs. Our age limits are minimum 10 years old to a maximum of 85 years old provided the elder is in good health and able to ride. We reserve the option to weigh guests when they arrive to determine eligibility for the Segway tour. Segway tours leave on a regular schedule, so if you are late you will not be able to join your tour and you will not receive a refund. If, after registering for your tour, you decide not to participate due to fear, we will give you a raincheck. This raincheck will be good for you only, for use one time, within the current season. We encourage you to try again.


A 13% tax will be added to Segway rental as required by law.


While we have an excellent record, the sports of Segway riding have inherent risks; accidents can and do occur. For this reason, we cannot assume responsibility for injury or loss of property. All participants in all activities will be required to sign a waiver stating that they are aware of the risks involved and are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Pregnant women are warned to seek a doctors advice before activity that could effect the babies health. Those with health problems limiting their normal activities may be prohibited from participation Segway Tour's discretion.


Segway Tours can not be responsible for supervision of minors when they are not actively participating in our programs. At all time, supervision of minors is the responsibility of the group leaders, parents or guardians.


The following statement is required by state law: "Before placing your order, please inform your server if a person in your party has a food allergy."

We do not use nuts in our food, but can not guarantee that the ingredients in our meals do not contain nuts or other food allergens. If you have food allergies or other special dietary needs, we strongly suggest you bring your own bag breakfast or lunch in non-glass containers and we will pack it with the other breakfast or lunches on your trip. Please inform our office at if you intend to do this.


The use of recreational drugs or alcohol is prohibited on all trips. If you arrive at Segway Tours under the influence, you will be prohibited from participating in the day’s activity and no refund will be given.


Segway trips go regardless of the weather with the exception of weather or water conditions deemed dangerous by Segway Tours. Any decision to cancel, move or postpone a trip will be made the morning of the trip at Segway Tours. We reserve the right to move a trip to another location at our discretion. In the event we must cancel a trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

•December 1st through May 15: OPEN 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seven days a week.
•May 16 through November 30: OPEN 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
